Volunteers!
We love our volunteers because we know this event couldn't happen without them.
We have many positions available where we could use your assistance!
Dancer check in table: Check in dancers
Make sure waiver is signed. Get their registration form- cut it apart 1) Top section-File it 2) Middle section-goes to the MC. 3) Bottom section- tape to their music. 4) Collect $10 entrance fee per person (except if they're taking a workshop).
Take donations & entrance fees, sell tickets for drawings. Donations go in the donation jar, everything else goes in cash box.
Workshop check in table: Check in students who have prepaid. Register drop-in students: collect class fee(s). Make sure everyone has signed a waiver. Give blank comment sheets to workshop instructors to hand out to students. Take filled out comment sheets after workshops.
Dressing rooms: Follow show schedule to make sure dancers are present and ready to go, let dancers know when they are on.
Music maestro: Run the music: CD's will include form when to cue music
Music maestro helper: Get the music from the check in table and bring it to the music Maestro. Bring the dancer info sheets to the MC, put music to be picked up at table behind stage. Evening show: match up thank you card with music for pick-up.
MC: Announce who is dancing next. Reminders: Evening show w/dessert. Drawing tickets for sale. Shameless advertising for our vendors. Evening, remind everyone to check out the promotions bulletin board.
Set up: Come on Friday evening and help set up (vending spaces, audience chairs, entry, dressing rooms, gift baskets). Saturday- after the show (re-set chairs, put away tables, general clean up).
Gift Drawing assistant: Assist MC with the drawing during the evening show. Assist basket wrangler (during showcase, or the evening show).
Videographer: Video tape showcase and evening show
